Shift: 2nd SHIFT
Pay: $55-60k
Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain controlled documents for department procedures (FMEA, CP, WS, VA, CS).
2. Develop monthly manpower plans and react to deviations from the schedule.
3. Manage weekly overtime schedules.
4. Ensure adherence to safety requirements by all associates.
5. Oversee corrective actions for safety concerns (SCARs) and address root causes.
6. Drive environmental waste reduction initiatives.
7. Promote adherence to ISO 14001 procedures for recycling and waste reduction.
8. Implement strategies to reduce turnover rates.
9. Maintain accurate time and attendance records.
10. Address quality concerns within the department (MNCRs) and implement corrective actions.
11. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 procedures for work standards and quality regulations.
12. Implement improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
13. Reduce scrap in production processes.
14. Minimize downtime in production operations.
15. Drive initiatives to reduce production costs.
16. Oversee and support departmental Kaizen projects.
17. Plan and ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
18. Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
19. Monitor process cycle times and implement corrective actions.
20. Supervise training programs for associates and conduct performance evaluations.
21. Maintain department cleanliness and organization using the 5C principle.
22. Oversee quality checks and ensure timely completion by all associates.
23. Manage the work request system, ensuring detailed reports and corrective actions.
24. Supervise the daily production schedule and establish reaction plans for deviations.
25. Review daily shift report sheets for accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
26. Ensure compliance with company policies regarding associate relations.
27. Possess knowledge and experience of departmental machines, equipment, and procedures.
28. Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and associates.
29. Attend meetings to contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
30. Undertake additional projects as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements:
1. High School Diploma/GED.
2. Degree in Industrial Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
1. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
3. Basic mechanical knowledge.
4. Supervisory experience.
