For a temporary contract (March to July) in an international organization, we are seeking a Senior Events and Logistics Support.
Responsibilities
* Work under the supervision of and report directly to the Event Producer.
* Coordinate and organize events by liaising with stakeholders to prepare for events, identifying needs and ensuring service quality; draft standard replies to inquiries, review technical requirements for cultural events with suppliers, oversee setup and dismantling of exhibitions, prepare pre-meeting talking points, and follow up on agreed actions.
* Provide logistical support to internal and external stakeholders during meetings and conferences. Oversee technical aspects of cultural events and exhibition dismantling.
* Assist in the planning and organization of regular events.
* Prepare public spaces according to logistical requirements, including arranging equipment and furniture.
* Contribute to innovation in event setups by modernizing and enhancing reception and exhibition spaces.
Profile
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in event management, logistics, catering or other relevant fields.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while effectively coordinating large-scale official events.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet tools.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
* Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English and French.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
* Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
* High degree of flexibility and initiative, with a willingness to work extended hours during events. Ability to work independently under pressure while demonstrating initiative and teamwork.
* Professional appearance, discretion, tact, courtesy and strong attention to detail.
