Post-Doc Position in Tribology of High Speed, Electrical Contacts

This project will be primarily carried out in the Laboratory for Surface Science and Coating Technologies with close collaborations involving engineers and corrosion scientists. The involved laboratories offer state-of-the-art equipment, and international partnerships will play a significant role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Design testing equipment to simulate industrial applications, focusing on sensor assessment and evaluation.
* Conduct pre- and post-testing surface chemical and mechanical analyses to characterize wear and friction properties and validate the equipment.
Your Profile:
* PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Experimental Physics.
* Experience in determining mechanical properties at surfaces.
* Background in surface chemical analysis or imaging.
* Enthusiasm for designing equipment.
* Motivation to work in an interdisciplinary group.
