Summary:
This role involves providing exceptional wine service and sales in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of wine, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Wine Service and Sales: Provide expert advice on wine selection and sales to customers across various food and beverage outlets.
2. Beverage Service: Ensure seamless beverage service at all times, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
3. Wine List Development: Collaborate with the team to design and develop wine lists that cater to diverse customer preferences.
4. Purchasing and Inventory Management: Work closely with the Purchasing & Cost Controlling Manager to source and purchase wines, while also managing cellar organization and inventory.
5. Team Leadership and Development: Assist in leading, training, and developing the service team, providing coaching and education to enhance their skills and performance.
6. Other Tasks: Perform additional duties as required to support business needs and objectives.
