Technical Designer windsor. women (d/f/m)
As a Technical Designer, you will actively contribute your passion and expertise in fit, proportions, and craftsmanship to our collection development process. You will be responsible for the product groups blazers, coats, and jackets, overseeing the entire process from developing a prototype based on design sketches to refining production-ready patterns. Working closely with the design team, you will contribute your creative ideas to the model development process. Your diverse range of tasks will include developing base patterns, optimising fit, and establishing processing guidelines. You will also define technical components and present prototypes to the creative team. You will ensure the technical model documentation is accurate and serve as a point of contact for fit-related patternmaking questions and processing details for internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will take part in production audits to ensure quality standards are met.
Required experience and skills:
* A solid technical education or further training in patternmaking, e.g., as a Garment Technician or Pattern Maker
* Several years of professional experience in the premium womenswear segment, with a focus on blazers, coats, and jackets
* Experience in developing base patterns
* Expertise in CAD applications, ideally with Lectra, and proficiency in PDM systems, Illustrator, and Centric
* Good command of technical English
* A structured and goal-oriented working style
* High standards of quality and craftsmanship
* Resilience and flexibility to meet the demands of the creative industry
* Passion and enthusiasm for silhouettes, fashion, and lifestyle
