IT Workplace & Support Engineer Job Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Workplace & Support Engineer to join our Digital Services team. This individual will be responsible for providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical assistance to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
* System Performance and Security: Monitor system performance, identify vulnerabilities, and implement measures to ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure.
* Microsoft 365 Support: Assist with Microsoft 365 adoption, compliance, and cybersecurity initiatives to enhance our digital workplace experience.
* IT Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of IT inventory, hardware, software, and licenses.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various teams, including security, service, and operations, to ensure seamless IT services and efficient workflow.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* IT Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT workplace operations, preferably in a small office environment.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and IT security principles, data classification, and compliance.
* Skillset: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, along with a collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
* Certifications: ITIL certification, Microsoft Azure, and Intune knowledge are desirable but not mandatory.
