Position Summary
We are currently looking for a Regional Procurement Manager based in Switzerland, responsible for managing commercial and sourcing activities within Flexible & Paper-based Packaging used by Nestlé in Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools, and policies.
A day in the life of a Regional Procurement Manager for Flexible & Paper-based Packaging:
1. Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
2. Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools, and policies.
3. Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
4. Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
5. Lead Supplier Relationship Management, lead the commercial relationship with strategic suppliers and ensure regular contract SLAs.
6. Drive Nestlé sustainable packaging agenda with the suppliers.
7. Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.
What will make you successful:
1. University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering.
2. Well-established experience in sourcing for different spend categories, ideally gained in Paper-based Packaging.
3. Proven track record in working in different teams in complex and matrix organizations.
4. Demonstrated use of risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relation management.
5. Experience & interest in leading sustainability projects within the Packaging category.
6. Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management experience.
7. Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
8. Fluent in English, another language would be an asset.
