About the Job
We are seeking experienced scientists to join us as Corresponding Associates. These positions are designed to help researchers stay up-to-date with the latest developments in particle physics and related fields.
During their six-month stay at CERN, Corresponding Associates will be expected to be on leave from their home institute and receive normal salary payments. CERN will supplement these payments with a subsistence allowance to cover living expenses in the Geneva area.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must be employed by an institute located in a CERN Member or Associate Member State (excluding France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom). You should also have a working knowledge of English or French.
The selection committee will only consider applications from candidates below the CERN retirement age.
What We Offer
* A contract of association for up to six months
* A subsistence allowance of 4,366 Swiss Francs per month (net of tax)
* Authorized absences during your contract
* Reimbursement of travel expenses based on individual circumstances
