Job Description:
Legal Advisory & Contract Negotiation
* Provide proactive, commercially driven legal counsel to global Procurement and Digital/IT functions.
* Oversee, draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts related to procurement (including IT procurement contracts such as cloud services, software licensing, and infrastructure agreements).
* Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation in procurement agreements and digital transactions.
Strategic Business Partnership
* Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting Procurement and Digital/IT teams in high-value transactions and strategic projects.
* Partner with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
* Support the Head of Legal for Global Procurement & IT in developing and implementing legal strategies aligned with business priorities.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
* Identify, assess, and manage legal risks associated with procurement and IT transactions.
* Lead dispute resolution efforts and collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
* Ensure transparent and clear communication regarding legal risks and obligations.
Innovation & Legal Training
* Stay ahead of emerging trends in procurement, digital law, and regulatory developments.
* Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for Procurement and IT teams to enhance legal awareness.
* Drive innovation by contributing to legal tech initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Master's degree in law (Swiss Bar qualification or equivalent preferred).
* Minimum of 6+ years of post-bar experience (or 12 years post-master's) within a multinational corporation and/or a top-tier law firm.
* Proven expertise in complex commercial transactions, with a focus on Procurement, Data, Digital, and IT-related agreements.
* Strong understanding of international procurement regulations and IT contracting.
* Experience in managing global legal projects and cross-border transactions.
* Business-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
* Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
* Ability to navigate complex legal landscapes in a multinational environment.
* High degree of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting.
