About the Organisation:
A leading international organisation is undertaking a digital transformation initiative to enhance its ERP capabilities. As part of this, a major ERP implementation project is underway to optimise finance operations and streamline business processes. This role will be central to designing and delivering best-in-class Record to Report (RTR) solutions within the new ERP system.
Role Overview:
The ERP Solution Architect (RTR) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising the RTR module within the ERP system, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with procurement, sales, and inventory systems. This role will report to the ERP Programme Manager and work closely with business and technical teams to align solutions with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design the RTR architecture within the ERP system, ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements.
* Oversee integration of the RTR module with other ERP functions and external systems.
* Provide technical leadership to development teams during ERP implementation.
* Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
* Develop integration components, including APIs, middleware, and data transformation tools.
* Conduct testing and validation of the RTR system to ensure reliability and performance.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration settings and user guides.
* Provide ongoing support for RTR-related issues to minimise business disruption.
* Stay updated on emerging ERP technologies and recommend process improvements.
* Participate in project review meetings and report on implementation progress.
Minimum Requirements:
Several years of experience in ERP implementation, with a strong focus on Record to Report (RTR).
Expertise in ERP systems and familiarity with integration technologies such as APIs and middleware.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimising business processes.
Ability to work closely with stakeholders, translate technical insights into business value, and provide training where needed.
Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
