The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces and distributes pipetting robots for the automation of liquid handling processes for a wide range of customers from the pharmaceutical and food industry, all the way to cell and DNA research.
How you can make a difference:
1. Content Development:
Write persuasive and audience-targeted copy for marketing materials, including brochures, email campaigns, landing pages, blog posts, case studies, and social media posts.
Develop clear, concise, and engaging ad copy for digital campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) that drive clicks and conversions.
Produce branded content that communicates the value and unique features of our products and services for both technical and non-technical audiences.
2. Product Launch Support:
Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop launch materials for new product releases, including brochures, promotional emails, website copy, and ad campaigns.
3. Website Content & SEO:
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and/or SEO experts to optimize website copy for search engines, ensuring content is both informative and optimized for high-value keywords.
4. Brand Management and Consistency:
Ensure all written materials align with the company’s brand voice and tone, which has been redefined through recent rebranding efforts.
Collaborate with the in-house designer and freelancers to develop cohesive campaigns that combine visuals and copy effectively.
Support the scientific content team by simplifying and translating complex scientific information into customer-friendly language when needed.
5. Campaign Performance Tracking:
Work with the Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing Manager to monitor the performance of digital ads, email campaigns, and web content.
Adjust and optimize messaging based on performance metrics, iterating on content strategies to improve engagement and lead conversion rates.
That’s what you bring along:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; additional certifications in digital marketing, copywriting, or content strategy (e.g., HubSpot Content Marketing Certification, Google Digital Garage) are a plus.
* A degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences) with strong writing experience is highly desirable.
* 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in a B2B marketing role in scientific, healthcare, technology, or automation industries.
* Experience writing for technical and scientific audiences (e.g., researchers, lab managers, engineers) while making complex topics accessible.
* Strong command of English (native-level fluency) with impeccable grammar, spelling, and storytelling ability.
* German language skills at least level B2.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
* Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as:
o HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation software).
o Google Analytics (for understanding content performance).
o LinkedIn Ads & Google Ads (for writing ad copy).
* Portfolio showcasing a range of marketing materials, including:
o Website and landing page copy.
o Blog articles (especially technical/scientific).
o White papers and case studies.
o Email campaigns.
o Social media posts (preferably LinkedIn).
o Product marketing materials.
* Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy when dealing with scientific content.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
* Experience working with designers and freelancers to create cohesive marketing materials.
* Analytical mindset with an interest in measuring the impact of content marketing on lead generation.
