Software Development / Embedded Software (m/f/d)
This full stack developer is designing software architecture for cloud processing and writing software for distributed high volume audio clients for managing, 3D audio content creation and delivery. You will design, develop and maintain high-quality software products for the audio & media entertainment industry (Museums, Theme Parks).
Your role involves managing and coordinating projects from the concept phase through to release and maintenance.
As a member of the Pro Labs Team, located in Zürich City (close to Sihlcity), you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software product through automated testing and build systems and collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that the software product meets the requirements of the audio world.
You will also participate in the architectural design of software products, research and recommend new software development tools and technologies.
1. Develop and maintain software products for embedded systems and desktop computers (MAC, Windows, Linux)
2. Manage and coordinate projects/products from the concept phase through to release
3. Support external development partners including technical evaluation and integration
4. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that the software product meets the requirements of end users
5. Work with USX designers to ensure products meet design specifications
6. Debug and troubleshoot software issues using appropriate debugging tools
7. Evaluate and integrate necessary cloud infrastructure for remote database
Your profile
* Master's degree in computer science or equivalent School of Engineering
* 3 years practical work experience in target market or adjacent field
* Strong C/C++ knowledge, experience with JUCE and audio real-time software
* Understanding of audio techniques and the needs of museum content providers
* Knowledge of cloud-based programming solutions and Test Driven Development (Google Test/Google Mock, Catch2)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Team player with strong communication skills (very good written and verbal skills in English) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
