How you can make an impact
1. Cross-location project management for sales projects in the Service Division
2. Close cooperation with the vehicle sales team on tenders that take into account vehicle purchase and their long-term maintenance.
3. Responsible for the preparation of customer quotations (in particular coordination of quotation team & work packages, quotation & time planning, progress checks, quality assurance of quotation documents)
4. Analysing the contractual terms requested by the customer. Recognising the associated risks and proposing mitigation solutions by suggesting adjustments to the contractual terms.
5. Cooperation with external service providers (consultants, lawyers, etc.)
6. Preparation and active participation in sales meetings with management
7. Collaboration on process optimisation
How you will contribute
1. Technical degree with further education (FH, equivalent, or higher)
2. Experience in project management, team leadership and/or management responsibility is an advantage
3. Core competences in business administration, commercial matters
4. Strong ability to coordinate the various departments along the value chain and create harmonious interaction
5. Team player
6. Industry experience in the area of total solutions for complex services
7. Understands maintenance concepts and knows how to apply them in the area of maintenance solutions for train fleets (or similar means of passenger transport)
8. Has experience with service tenders and the awarding of contracts, understands their interrelationships and can recognise and assess risks
9. Very good MS Office user skills
10. Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken); business fluent
11. Other languages of significant advantage
12. Winning personality, independent, decisive and responsible
13. Ability to come up with unconventional solutions
14. High flexibility in terms of operational readiness, especially during the bid submission period
15. Willingness to travel
