Head of Marketing Job Description
The Head of Marketing will oversee our marketing department, driving the company's marketing initiatives. This role spans various marketing aspects, including strategy, product, CRM, social media, events, rewards/recognition, and PR.
Key Responsibilities
* Marketing Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire the marketing department, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure seamless communication among team members and establish an effective team structure.
* Strategic Marketing Development: Create and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with the company's goals. Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to drive innovative strategies.
* Performance Metrics & ROI: Set clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI. Regularly analyze performance data and make data-driven adjustments.
* Market & Industry Expertise: Provide expert insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and industry best practices. Keep up-to-date with emerging marketing technologies and tools.
* New Market Expansion: Collaborate with the CEO and stakeholders to develop market entry strategies for new regions. Identify opportunities and anticipate challenges in new market roll-outs.
* Communication & Field Programs: Develop field programs with sales and training teams to drive growth and sales. Ensure programs are on-brand, designed to motivate and engage, and maintain a consistent tone of voice.
* Recognition & Incentive Programs: Design recognition programs with clear communication strategies and fulfillment of rewards. Manage incentive trips, ensuring exceptional venue selection and budget management.
* Brand Initiatives & Experiences: Drive key brand initiatives, such as At Home experiences and Salons, to enhance and showcase the company's unique selling propositions while maintaining brand integrity.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has the following skills:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product development ideally skincare.
* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a results-oriented approach and adherence to deadlines.
* Creativity: Excellent eye for detail and instinct into what consumers want, with the ability to communicate written and orally to sell into internal departments and external partners.
* Office 365: Excel and PowerPoint skills a must.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments.
* Flexibility: Must love problem-solving and being able to pivot in a start-up environment.
* Languages: Proficiency in English and preferably a second language.
