As a Solution Architect within the Crew Management Systems team, you will be responsible for advancing our state-of-the-art crew planning & operations systems and to ensure stable and reliable flight operations. Starting date: April 01, 2025 or upon agreement You may apply in English or German. In this role, you'll support our operations planning and steering teams and other Lufthansa Group airlines. You'll bring in-depth knowledge of crew systems and processes to enhance all layers of the crew planning operation as part of an agile product team. Design airline operations solutions, integrating Jeppesen tools and other aviation-specific systems. Create scalable and reliable architectures leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) to support airline operational efficiency. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, workflows, and integration designs. Ensure the interoperability of new and existing systems, addressing latency, fault tolerance, and high availability. Support the migration of airline operation systems to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to critical processes. Define and enforce cloud governance practices, including cost optimization, security, and compliance.
