Position Summary

As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will ensure quality and food safety in product and process development, providing scientific and technical guidance, and delivering flawless and innovative products that meet business and consumer needs. This includes expertise in the quality and food safety requirements of Pediatric and Maternal supplements and their manufacturing processes. This role also involves building and maintaining expertise in the field and independently authoring standards and guidelines.
A Day in the Life of a Senior Quality Specialist
1. Provide support to projects, ensuring Quality and Food Safety by Design and timely delivery of key information/documents.
2. Build and document knowledge on Quality and Food Safety topics relevant to Pediatric and Maternal supplements.
3. Provide accurate and timely support to operations with effective and sustainable solutions.
4. Assist customers during industrialization start-ups and product launches, ensuring zero waste and vertical start-up.
5. Develop and update Standards and Guidelines based on business priorities, using the latest knowledge, methods, and trends, and ensure implementation in factories.
6. Train, coach, and support the implementation of Nutrition requirements at co-manufacturers.
7. Support assessments of new co-manufacturers, including on-site audits.
8. Partner with colleagues to develop and negotiate quality agreements.
9. Build relationships with internal and external partners to meet Nestlé requirements.
What will make you successful
1. Degree in the related scientific field.
2. Minimum 10 years of R&D, operations and/or factory experience in the area of supplements.
3. Up to date knowledge in quality, safety and hygiene requirements for Pediatric and Maternal supplements.
4. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners/contractors.
5. Experience in auditing co-manufacturers and/or been audited by customers or authorities.
