We are looking for a:
Senior Project Manager
In this role, you will oversee the execution and strategic management of several cross-functional projects within an agile environment, working closely with multiple teams to meet organizational goals. You will be responsible for the upgrading and overhauling of functional aspects within these systems, ensuring the timely achievement of objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple project portfolios in an agile organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Develop clear, achievable project roadmaps and milestones, managing all aspects from planning to execution.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively to ensure project success.
* Manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track.
* Facilitate steering and operational committees to guide teams and make informed decisions.
* Negotiate project scope, resources, and timelines with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing changes effectively.
* Support the human impact of transformation by planning and overseeing changes to processes and systems.
* Maintain up-to-date repositories of project health and progress to monitor project success.
Qualifications:
* At least 6 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary projects in a complex environment.
* Experience in managing project portfolios using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools like MS Project.
* Master's degree in IT Project Management or an equivalent qualification.
* Certification in project management methodologies such as HERMES, PMP, or IPMA is a plus.
* Strong experience in risk analysis, quality management, and resource allocation within large projects.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and simple manner.
* Ability to lead and coordinate multiple project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Fluency in English is required; French is a strong plus.
Nice to Have:
* Scrum Master or Product Owner certifications.
* Experience working with the State of Geneva or public administration.
* Experience leading organizational change management initiatives.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving project goals.
* Problem-solving oriented, with a knack for negotiation and resolving conflicts.
* Thrive in fast-paced environments and maintain focus on objectives.
* Passion for innovation and openness to embracing and driving change within projects.
