Your Responsibilities The Senior Mechanical Engineer Machines develops, designs, and qualifies elevator machines by applying state-of-the-art engineering practice. In this role, you will be responsible for releasing and maintaining top-quality machines optimized for manufacturing, installation, reliability, and maintenance. Your future challenges include: Taking ownership of assigned engineering tasks in machinery, including brakes and other auxiliary systems, and resolving them independently. Developing concepts and mechanical designs for new components, considering overall system architecture, requirements, and production constraints (e.g., cost, quality, space, manufacturing). Delivering mechanical solutions that fulfill specifications, meet high-quality and reliability targets, and integrate seamlessly into the overall design. Creating 3D models and drawings in CREO, along with related development documentation, defining the Bill of Materials, and releasing all information in SAP. Executing required strength calculations and validating technical solutions. Performing code, cost, and tolerance analysis and configuration checks. Degree in mechanical engineering, system engineering, or similar. Extensive experience in mechanical component development for electromotors.
