Description
Cilag AG, part of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Process Engineer within the Optical Inspection Operations support team, located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

Under the leadership of the Operations Support Manager Optical Inspection, the Process Engineer is responsible for working closely with several functions on site and globally, like Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, MSAT, Planning, or Business Excellence. This exciting role establishes and standardizes processes to increase performance and quality. The Process Engineer will apply a strong end-to-end focus to ensure safety, the right quality, and right first-time production through improving reliability and speed as well as cost optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the identification and realization of continuous improvement and value stream optimization opportunities through lean and six sigma methodologies.
2. Lead projects related to lean material flow and operational efficiency.
3. Support and enhance the OEE review Governance.
4. Collaborate closely with the Digital & Technology team to deliver effective ways of collecting, visualizing, and analyzing relevant data for process improvements and problem solving.
Qualifications
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree required; focused degree in Nature Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or Industrial Automation (Technical, Data Analytics, or Statistical degrees) or equivalent is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
* Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience in Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, MSAT, Planning, or Business Excellence.
* Affinity to data and digital solutions with an ability to identify and explain key insights from data.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority, across functional teams and different levels of organization leadership.
Preferred:
* Lean / Six Sigma / Process Excellence methodology experience, training, and/or certification.
* Experience in a Pharmaceutical and/or other cGMP manufacturing environment.
* Experience building and interpreting dashboard analytics to drive improvements, e.g., Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
* Familiarity with PowerBI and/or Tableau.
Other:
* Requires fluency in English and German (written and oral).
* Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week.
