We are passionate about designing and developing cloud-based applications and scalable, performant micro-services that very often integrate with APIs. For the past 2 years we worked with clients from Energy, Travel, E-commerce and Retail companies accelerate their ability to take advantage of new business models and market opportunities. Responsibilities
What do we expect you take lead on:
1. Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
2. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
3. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
4. Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
5. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
6. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
7. Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
8. Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
9. Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal.
10. Have a good understanding of the business's products or services and be able to advise others about them.
11. Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
12. Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
13. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
14. Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.
15. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
16. Create a sales pipeline.
17. Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases.
18. Increase sales of the business.
19. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors.
20. Contribute to the development of the business sales and marketing strategy.
Minimum Requirements
1. 5 years of experience in related field in marketing and/or relationship management capacity.
2. Previous experience in a Business Analyst/Programme Manager role.
3. B2B international experience (in the IT sector would be an advantage).
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Advanced English level.
6. Good knowledge of the IT market and Software Development Life Cycle.
7. Very good negotiation and sales skills.
8. Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
9. An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates.
10. Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
11. Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
12. IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets.
13. Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work.
14. Decision-making skills.
15. The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
16. Project management and organisational skills.
17. The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals.
18. Negotiating skills.
