The work of the Senior Manager, ESG Reporting is critical to coordinating internal partners and helping external stakeholders understand our priorities and progress. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial and matrixed environment, communicates clearly, early and frequently, and has demonstrated the capacity to assess and navigate competitive, regulatory, and reputational dynamics.
A strategic and critical thinker with strong instincts and an endless appetite for information, the Senior Manager shapes/coordinates our ESG roadmap and drives its successful execution through cross-functional partnership. With a keen eye for detail and strong business acumen, they centralize ESG disclosures to support all external reporting, ratings and rankings, and stakeholder engagements. They lead the development of various annual reports and engage in finalizing disclosure-based regulatory filings, as well as advising on other CSR-related external communications.
What will you do?
1. Centralize and contextualize the company’s ESG roadmap, translating it into project plans that advance initiatives and drive accountability for results
2. Regularly coordinate and communicate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to lead well-planned, cross-functional initiatives that engage various teams, including legal, finance, sustainability, human resources, sourcing and communications
3. Lead end-to-end development of annual CSR Report and actively engage on other corporate publications, regulatory filings and ESG content and communications
4. Coordinate CSRD compliance assessment to prioritize ESG impacts, risks and opportunities
5. Partner with IT and finance to strengthen data management, controls and disclosure procedures
6. Manage ESG ratings and rankings performance through a standardized process
7. Manage CSR associate and ensure timely and accurate responses to stakeholder inquiries
Qualifications
8. Adaptable leader and seasoned project manager with minimum 10 years of progressive experience in ESG, sustainability or corporate strategy (required)
9. Outstanding written communication skills with minimum 5 years leading complex reporting projects and proven copy-editing skills (required)
10. Superior attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and strong organizational management skills to deliver high quality deliverables in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
11. Motivated by change management and experienced in distilling large amounts of information to shape recommendations that support strategic decision making
12. Proven ability to interpret the broader ESG landscape to shape strategy while possessing the detail and process orientation to drive data integrity, consistency and governance
13. Possesses understanding of global ESG regulatory landscape, frameworks and ratings
14. Experience integrating and driving adoption of new technology solutions preferred
15. Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or PMP preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $118,–$212,
