Climate Reporting Manager (m/f/d) 80 - 100 %
As part of Schindler's Global Sustainability office, you will play a key role in advancing our climate agenda by leading the climate agenda from strategy to reporting. This includes the management of the framework of climate risks and opportunities, related strategic initiatives and reporting across Swiss and European regulations.
Some of your exciting challenges include:
* Manage the climate reporting and action agenda, ensuring compliance with regulatory and voluntary standards, and implementing CSRD recommendations by collaborating with internal stakeholders to integrate climate risks and opportunities into nonfinancial reporting.
* Leading annual CDP disclosures from data collection to submission, while enhancing carbon accounting methodologies across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and driving emissions reduction initiatives, including carbon removal and pricing.
* Managing the RE100 commitment to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2025, including renewable electricity certificate procurement, and working with cross-functional teams to embed climate considerations in strategic decision-making.
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive climate and sustainability risk management framework to proactively identify, assess, and manage related risks and opportunities, including conducting scenario analyses to evaluate potential impacts on operations.
* Staying informed on emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in climate and environmental risk management, while advising business functions and Group companies on climate-related matters.

Further requirements include:
* Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability management, mathematics, or similar
* Extensive experience (8-10 years) managing climate reporting initiatives
* In depth understanding of climate risks, carbon accounting, and TCFD recommendations.
* Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., ESRS, ISSB, GRI, CDP).
* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
* Effective project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives from inception to completion.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Proficiency in English and German.
