Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain global standards and approvals for sensors, valve drives, and transmitters in process automation.
* Conceptualize and implement a comprehensive approval and conformity strategy.
* Independently create submission documents and lead approval projects from start to finish.
* Support colleagues from development by ensuring they understand and apply standard requirements correctly, identifying gaps and risks.
* Promote necessary re-certifications to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Foster close partnerships with partners and government agencies worldwide to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Maintain ongoing dialogue with internal and external stakeholders and partners globally.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest applicable standards through continuous education and research of specialist literature.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, combined with at least 3 years of experience in a Standard & Approvals role, preferably in the sensors, measurement, or process automation industry.
* At least 5 years of practical experience in developing electrical products for the process industry or similar.
* Strong background in cULus and CE.
* Ideal additional experience in NSF, KTW, UKCA, ATEX, CSA, EC1935, 3A, EHEDG, metrological approvals, marine approvals, or radio approvals.
* Ideal experience with IEC 62443 or IEC 61508.
* Proficiency in German and English.
