You‘ll join a dynamic team, where your role will involve ensuring smooth logistics, efficient production, and timely delivery of our top-notch products. Your mission
Build upon your technical expertise to provide key contributions in all stages of product and project development.
Involved in complex projects on multiple tasks and manage mechanical design technical activities required for the development and qualification of launcher structures and components.
Lead and coordinate technical activities within your dedicated field.
Conduct and lead high complex tasks without supervision, including planning technical work packages as task manager for your field.
Responsible for the specification and design of electrical assemblies and interconnecting harness for the control of mechanisms for space and terrestrial applications, as well as for the related test equipment.
Create conceptual designs in 3D (CATIA V5) of interconnecting harness including selection of cabling and connectors.
Calculate electrical parameters of the electrical components and associated harness.
Create purchasing specifications for electrical components and assemblies.
Execute detailed designs of the electrical components in 3D CAD.
Prepare technical documentation for the electrical components using CAD and SAP.
Support in your engineering field during product development, production support, innovation, and projects.
Proactively communicate and align cross-functionally with adjacent engineering fields and departments outside engineering such as operations, quality, procurement, and other teams.
Support processes and product continuous improvements to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand.
Propose market-oriented initiatives to improve existing products, technologies, and production processes.
Write and review technical documentation (e.g., test plans, analysis reports), project-related deliverables, and other specifications related to your field of work.
Utilize project management techniques/tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements. Support Technical Lead in progress reporting.
Understand and comply with internal BPM.
Work package/Task Manager. Own technical, budget, and schedule responsibility for fulfillment of tasks assigned by projects.
Participate in NRBs (Non-Conformance Review Board) according to the NC process. Actively propose technical solutions in your field of activity. Implement Lessons Learned.
Support your engineering field during negotiations and reviews with customers and suppliers or subcontractors.
Onboard peers. Provide assistance in the ramping up of newcomers.
Co-work in the bidding team for proposals, quotations, concept work, and developments.
Participate in the recruitment process.
Coach interns/students, contractors, and junior engineers.
Your Story
University Bachelor/master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
Minimum five years of experience as electrical design engineer (or equivalent role in a relevant engineering discipline).
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Extended 3D CAD software experience (Catia V5, V6) and electrical design experience including calculation of electrical parameters and dimensioning of components.
Electrical test systems and developments.
Advanced English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
Knowledge in circuit design, firmware, and software for electrical assemblies.
Knowledge of the space industry and market.
Experience in large composite structures and/or mechanisms.
Experience in design of launcher structures.
