We are looking for a Senior Process and Energy Integration Engineer to join our Polymer and Crystallization team in Winterthur, Switzerland.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Lead initiatives in energy integration within Polymer and Crystallization technologies, including integrated plants to enhance energy efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness.
* Collaborate with stakeholders on patent filings, industrial solutions, and application cases, while supporting the promotion of energy-efficient solutions internally and externally alongside sales and product line management teams.
* Mentor process engineers in the field of energy integration, facilitate knowledge transfer within the process engineering team, and coach and review the work of new employees.
* Design and size Sulzer proprietary equipment for Polymers and Crystallization technologies, and develop process designs for plants ranging from pilot scale to world-scale commercial operations.
* Analyse and evaluate extensive test and operational data from own pilot and commercial plants.
* Participate in team and client project meetings, conducting review sessions, providing necessary sales support activities and process responsibilities.
* Ensure the preparation of various engineering documentation.
* Offer commissioning support at client sites with global travel of approximately 20%.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* University degree in Process, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
* 5 to 10 years of experience in energy system integrations, technology/process development, energy system integration, design, construction, and/or commissioning of chemical plants; expertise in separation, bioprocesses, and/or crystallization technologies is preferable.
* Familiarity with heat integration, heat pumps, and heat exchanger networks is advantageous.
* Proven ability to work in core engineering disciplines and contribute to industrial projects.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across disciplines and cultures, coupled with a hands-on passion for innovation and plant design.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Willingness to travel (approx. 20%) and spend time abroad for meetings.
