We are currently working with a leading medical device firm looking for an Automation Specialist to join their team in Switzerland. You will be part of a reputable organisation helping to improve patients' lives.
You will be responsible for:
Providing in-depth knowledge in production support.
Evaluating and implementing new production technologies as well as optimizing existing production processes.
Defining, specifying, and validating manufacturing and testing processes.
Planning and executing process expansions through automation/partial automation.
Supporting maintenance and troubleshooting of existing automation solutions.
Analyzing, optimizing, and documenting production workflows.
Identifying cost and quality optimization opportunities.
Organizing and coordinating cross-departmental activities.
Maintaining machinery.
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
Completed training/apprenticeship as an automation technician or a comparable technical education.
Experience with highly automated systems.
Autonomous working style and strong communication skills.
Fluency in German.
Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
