REGISTRATION OFFICER

Role Description
This is a volunteer hybrid role for a dedicated Registration Officer. The Registration Officer will be responsible for managing the registration process for participants, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in event management, customer service, and logistics while contributing to a globally recognized event.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participant registration: Oversee the registrations, including the choice of the registration tool and the process.
2. Communication: Communicate with participants prior to the event to ensure they have all necessary information regarding registration, schedules, and event details.
3. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of registered participants and ensure that all necessary materials (e.g., badges, programs) are prepared in advance.
4. Problem-Solving: Address any registration-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
5. On-Site Support: Ensure smooth check-in at the event by providing clear instructions and support to attendees as they arrive.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure the event runs smoothly from a registration perspective.
Qualifications
1. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Rotary/Rotaract, with a solid understanding of its mindset, mission, and global initiatives.
2. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle registration information.
3. Strong communication skills: Clear, friendly and ready to assist communication skills to interact with the participants.
4. Positive mindset
Requirements
1. Must be available from May 2025 to November 2026
2. Willing to travel in 2025/2026 for an in-person team meeting
3. Must be available to travel to Geneva during the week of the event in autumn 2026

CONTENT WRITER

Role Description
This is a volunteer hybrid role for a skilled and passionate Content Writer. The Content Writer will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful content for various communication channels, including blogs, articles, and emails to participants and sponsors. The role involves collaborating with team members to produce engaging and informative content that aligns with our mission and goals.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience within Rotary/Rotaract and possesses a strong background in writing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation: Write engaging blog posts and articles.
2. Editorial Planning: Collaborate with the head of communication to plan and produce content in alignment with strategic communication goals.
3. Editorial Oversight: Review and edit content produced by other team members to ensure accuracy, tone, and alignment with organizational goals. This mainly concerns sponsorship and registration teams.
4. Develop partnerships: Map the existing communication channels within Rotary and other relevant media to develop partnerships leading to articles, interviews, etc., and ensure the visibility of the event before and after.
Qualifications
1. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Rotary/Rotaract, with a solid understanding of its mindset, mission, and global initiatives.
2. Writing skills: Proven experience in writing, particularly in blog and article formats. A journalistic background is preferred.
3. Passion for writing: A deep passion for writing and storytelling, with a commitment to producing high-quality content.
4. Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team, taking feedback and incorporating it into your work.
5. Positive mindset
