Job Responsibilities Develop, implement and/or update local EHS policies and procedures aligned with Swiss Regulations and company Standards
Provide technical support and coordination in defining and implementing site EHS systems
Perform GAP analysis comparing current situations with Swiss regulations and company policies and deploy action plans accordingly
Ensure ongoing evaluation of changes in Safety and Environment Regulatory requirements
Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with all current and future safety requirements
Maintain environmental records, supporting data, and reports for required government, industry, management, and site committees
Ensure that site systems are in place to maintain site compliance with all Safety and Environmental Regulations and Programs
Perform occupational risk assessments
Assess risks linked to the use of machines/installations, processes/workspaces, ergonomics, and personal protective equipment
Participate in accident/incident and near-miss investigations
Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures
Specify and organize safety and environmental training through third parties, web-based material, and/or self-development and delivery for all relevant stakeholders
Organize and participate in safety and environment promotional and awareness campaigns
Train employees on general and/or specific rules of safety, environmental protection, and health protection according to internal training program
Support monthly internal safety inspections/safety walkthroughs
Manage CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and safety actions
Safety reviews, and safety inspections are diligently carried out and corrective/preventive actions are taken to minimize long-term risks
Provide technical support for new projects and modifications to ensure proper EHS design review
Supervise and coordinate companies on construction work
Minimum Requirements Degree in an environmental or safety-related technical discipline
Experience in a similar role
Documented knowledge of Swiss and EU EHS regulations and regulatory framework
Proven ability to develop sustainable cooperative professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize, focus on, and obtain business results
Demonstrated analytical and logical problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to perform multiple, complex tasks simultaneously to efficiently support the business
Profound German and English skills
