Job Description
* Manage administrative tasks for grant-making, including payments and documents.
* Provide support to staff and Trustees throughout the grant process.
* Prepare payments for grants and offices, completing necessary checklists.
* Draft grant letters, ensuring all required documentation is included and checklists are completed.
* Process staff and Trustee discretionary grants.
* Respond to inquiries and support requests from staff and Trustees.
* Perform reconciliations and generate reports.
* Manage filing and document administration.
* Produce support letters and documentation as needed.
* Identify and escalate situations requiring further consideration or approvals.
* Conduct checks and complete checklists.
* Assist with other administrative tasks as requested by the Head of Grant Administration and Treasury or the Director of Operations.
The Successful Applicant
* University degree or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of five years of relevant administrative experience.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience with CRM, database, and grant management software is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of banking processes and international payments is highly desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proficient in written and oral communication.
* Advanced skills in MS Office.
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
* Ability to work independently and as a resourceful team player under pressure and within deadlines.
* Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
* Experience in foundations, not-for-profit organizations, or the private sector is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
