As we continue our rapid expansion, we are seeking a Group Controller to play a key role in strengthening our financial reporting and operations across our diverse hospitality and private equity portfolio. This is a hands-on position, offering the opportunity to build and optimize finance functions while working closely with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and contribute to shaping the financial backbone of a high-growth investment platform.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage finance operations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tasks
* Lead financial reporting, collaborating with local finance teams and third-party service providers
* Manage the consolidation under local GAAP
* Manage and coordinate the audit process throughout the group, including collaboration with internal and external auditors
* Strengthen compliance and internal controls
* Optimize finance processes and collaborate with the asset management team
* Preparation of legal entity forecasting
* Handle legal, tax, and VAT matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and transfer pricing regulations
* Oversee intercompany transactions and manage cash and treasury activities
The ideal candidate will have:
* 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or audit (ideally with a Big4 firm)
* Strong university degree in Business or Finance
* Proven experience in accounting and consolidation
* Understanding of local GAAP and IFRS
* Knowledge and experience of local and international taxation
* Previous experience managing and developing finance teams is a plus
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
