We are a leading Pharmaceutical company, seeking a Warehouse Operator (m/f/d) for the Solothurn area. This is an exciting opportunity to join our international team on a 12-month contract, with potential extension or permanent role.
Job Description
The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, shipping, and GMP item handling while ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving GMP items, verifying count, vendor details, and expiration date, then printing barcodes.
* Preparing shipments (binding, picking, using powered trucks) and updating ERP daily.
* Collaborating with other teams to support operations.
* Assisting with manufacturing prep and automation systems (AGVs, Swisslog).
* Preparing shipping documents and organizing shipments.
* Completing required department and GXP training.
* Handling GMP requests like QC sampling and updating records.
* Packing and shipping finished products as per SOPs.
* Receiving and processing drug substances from manufacturing.
* Performing inventory cycle counts.
* Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, safety, and reporting issues in the EHS system.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have:
* Completed apprenticeship in warehouse/logistics.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP environment.
* Understanding of GDP and compliance standards.
* Solid English skills.
* Valid forklift license.
* ADR/IATA certification for handling dangerous goods.
* Proficient in Oracle or other ERP systems.
* Strong documentation skills and ability to follow procedures.
* Expertise in all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
