The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship is a non-profit institution based in Geneva which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future. Position summary
We are looking for a Junior Education Programme Coordinator to support the operational and administrative implementation of two of the Foundation’s educational programmes: the Homo Faber Fellowship and the Young Ambassadors Programme. Supporting the Education Programme Coordinator, this position is responsible for liaising with programme participants, institutional partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth project and event delivery.
Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Junior Education Programme Coordinator are, but not limited to:
* Coordinate call for participation preparation and diffusion to schools, artisans and other stakeholders through presentations, preparation of briefs, FAQ and supporting documents
* Coordinate selection process with programme candidates from processing of applications, creation of jury packages to selection announcements and creation of agreement letters
* Coordination of data collection for operational and administrative needs including vendor documentation, survey creation, data inputting for travel, F&B and masterclass logistics
* Creation of programme documentation including welcome kits, schedules, surveys, debriefs, etc.
* Assist in operational and administrative tasks
* Provide pre-event and onsite support in operational delivery
* Liaise with Foundation teams on gathering of content including communication needs for example
* Updating of Learning Management System and support in design and creation of new modules
* Support in implementation of Homo Faber NextGen alumni pilot programme
* Adding and updating data in our database
* Support creation of documents and assets including, retroplanning, budgets, short videos
* Support on ad hoc projects and presence in events from the Foundation
Required skills
* 1 year experience in project coordination
* A first experience in education programme conceptualization, implementation and coordination
* Interested in working at all levels of a project from conception to realization
* Energetic, curious, autonomous and proactive with a natural ability to coordinate and multitask
* Effective communicator, solution-driven and avid learner
* Sociable and extrovert with a capacity to connect to others
* Computer skills (MsSuite, Salesforce, RiseUp, video editor and creation an asset)
* If not already in the arts, craft, design, education sector, a strong interest for it
* Mother tongue in English and good knowledge of French. Knowledge of Italian and any other languages is a plus
* Willing to travel
