Global Workplace Demand & Data Analyst (m / f / d)
We are seeking a Global Workplace Demand & Data Analyst to join our team for our customer, a big pharmaceutical company in Basel.
The successful candidate will support the Global Lead for Workplace Experience in delivering best-in-class workplaces and experience strategies for our employees globally.
The Perfect Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with an analytical mindset and experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research to drive strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate has a few years' experience and a proven track record in workplace analytics, data science, and software engineering, with fluency in English.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Delivery of the real estate Demand Analysis process, ensuring our global Real Estate portfolio meets business needs today and tomorrow.
* Engage with local stakeholders to gather required data, analyse it to develop strategic recommendations based on sqm requirements, review and present findings and recommendations to local stakeholders.
* Improve existing real estate management tools and data analysis optimisations, monitor the data and performance of the Global Occupancy Dashboard to drive strategic insights and decision making.
* Own the maintenance of the Global Occupancy Dashboard from a technical perspective, bridging IT and the Workplace team.
* Manage and support the community of local site users of the dashboard, liaise with global IT to ensure continuous data capture.
* Drive the continuous improvement of the global tools, ownership of the Global Portfolio Management Dashboard (Demand Analysis 3.0).
* Review data to drive proactive real estate and workplace opportunities for optimisation, own the continuous maintenance of the Global Portfolio Management Dashboard and develop improvements.
* Lead workshops and communications with key stakeholders to understand what's working, what's not, and outline recommended next steps/actions.
Must Haves:
* A few years' experience and a proven track record in workplace analytics, data science, and software engineering.
* Previous experience leading strategic real estate portfolio planning programmes, success in connecting corporate real estate and business objectives together.
* Proven track record handling complexity, organisational and political astuteness to form relationships with local business stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, ability to creatively negotiate requirements, and experience engaging key senior-level stakeholders.
* Results-oriented, business-driven, organised with attention to detail, able to translate complex data into simple and visual stories.
* Fluency in English is a must, another language is a plus.
* Experience with Python, Streamlit, and Snowflake is required, experience with all other technical tools is a plus.
