Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Maître d'Hôtel Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a strong background in hospitality management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the 1st Maître d'Hôtel: Assist in the day-to-day management and supervision of our restaurants, ensuring seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
* Service Area Coordination: Oversee the coordination of service areas, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, to guarantee efficient and organized service delivery.
* Consultation with Deputy Restaurant Manager: Collaborate closely with the deputy restaurant manager to discuss service standards, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with hotel goals.
* Service Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing service processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall guest satisfaction.
* Team Management: Share responsibility for team members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure they meet high service standards.
* Preparation for Excellent Service: Participate in the preparation work required to deliver exceptional service, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
* Guest Service: Provide top-notch guest service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
* Diverse Service Areas: Offer service in various areas of the hotel, including restaurants, bars, and other public spaces.
* Food and Drink Recommendations: Provide expert advice on food and drink options to guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
* Service Standards: Uphold and implement service standards, adhering to hotel policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Familiarity with service standards and quality control procedures.
* Able to lead by example and motivate team members.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
