For our client, a world leader in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical, food, and automation products, we are looking for a skilled
Automation Engineer in Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
Vos missions
As a key member of a dynamic team of automation and industrial IT engineers, you will be responsible for executing the automation aspects of customer projects. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues and project managers to ensure the success of various phases, from development to testing and commissioning.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Programming assembly machines using Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
* Programming precision machines on Beckhoff PLCs.
* Participating in the study, development, commissioning, testing, and documentation phases of the projects.
* Collaborating with your team and the project manager to plan and monitor the progress of the project.
* Providing technical support and traveling to client locations when necessary.
Vos compétences
* Technician or Bachelor’s degree in automation, industrial computing, or a related field.
* Proficiency in programming PLCs, with experience in Rockwell Studio5000 and Siemens TIA Portal environments.
* Experience with the CodeSys environment (PLC Structured Text and Motion), preferably with Beckhoff TwinCat 3.
* Knowledge of industrial computing and advanced programming languages (C#, Python) is a plus.
* Familiarity with robotics is an asset.
* Knowledge of GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practices) and validation is a plus.
* Fluency in both spoken and written French and English (minimum B2 level).
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, project managers, suppliers, and clients.
* Comfort in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment and availability to travel approximately 10 to 20% of the time to client sites.
