Job Description
We're looking for a Business Development Director (Heavy Rents) for the EAME region to drive rapid and profitable rental revenue growth with prioritized Cat Dealers. This position requires an experienced rental professional with a proven track record of defining and executing strategic growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Align Strategically: Reach strategic growth alignment with select Cat Dealer and Cat internal stakeholders ahead of project launch.
2. Analyze: Run deep battlefield analysis for chosen territory (industry, competition, trends, performance).
3. Design Growth Solutions: Work with Cat dealer project team and Cat internal strategy team to follow critical project steps.
4. Execute & Govern: Deliver on the business plan for fleet additions (in units and $ revenues).
Requirements
* Customer Focus: Knowledge of customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions.
* Data Gathering & Analysis: Ability to collect and synthesize data from various stakeholders and sources.
* Decision Making & Critical Thinking: High level of business acumen and strategic planning skills.
* Negotiating: Ability to negotiate successfully across a matrix organization and with external partners/clients.
Preferred Qualifications
* 10+ years of Equipment Rental experience and/or construction industry experience.
* Working and navigating a complex, matrix type environment.
* Language capability in addition to English.
