Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive our financial strategy and operations as we enter a new phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Structuring & Strategy: Lead the financial structuring and optimize capital raising efforts for the firm, including structured debt financing to support commodity trading operations.
* Commodity Trade Finance: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure optimal access to trade finance for our commodities trading activities.
* Global Tax Strategy: Provide expert oversight and guidance on tax planning and structuring, ensuring compliance and efficiency across global markets.
* Financial Reporting & Oversight: Oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to internal stakeholders and regulators.
* Leadership: Develop and lead the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring proper financial controls and risk management processes are in place.
* Strategic Decision Support: Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations to guide key business decisions and future growth strategies.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience: Significant experience in finance, with a strong focus on financial structuring, structured debt, and commodity trade finance.
* Industry Expertise: Background in the commodities or energy sector, ideally with familiarity in managing the financial intricacies of global trade.
* Leadership: Proven track record of leading financial teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
* Global Perspective: Knowledge of global tax implications, international finance, and regulatory compliance.
* Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA qualifications preferred but not mandatory).
