The Homo Faber Guide is currently looking for a sponsored intern to support the team for a 6 months-period.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You will work with talented multidisciplinary colleagues on these different tasks:
Editing tasks (in English):
- Under the patronage of the Senior Editor: review and edit the Homo Faber Guide weekly new profiles;
- Edit and update Homo Faber Guide content when necessary;
- Liaise with the team members in order to follow the planning and deadlines.
Content creation tasks (in English):
- Research and investigate – find the right contacts and information;
- Be able to write biographies and journalistic interviews – following the Homo Faber Guide editorial line;
- Liaise with the various stakeholders (artisans, ateliers, manufacturers, etc.);
- Be able to build interesting thematized contents such as itineraries, short descriptive texts;
- Assist the team in copywriting and collection of visual content when necessary;
- Support with the coordination of the dedicated content team.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
- English as your mother-tongue with excellent writing skills, 2 other languages would be an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English Literature or Arts (currently looking for an internship under a university sponsorship)
- Journalistic or storytelling skills
- Ability to sort and organize content
- Proactivity and agility
- Computer proficiency including Word and Excel
- Ability to adapt and use a database such as Salesforce
- Good communication skills
- Interest in art and design
- Internship agreement with you school/university mandatory
- Available for a 6-month internship with starting date 01.04.2025
