Job Description
We are seeking an experienced information security professional to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to securing the application landscape for public authorities, including federal government, authorities, and administrations.
You will have the opportunity to expand your expertise in IT security applications and collaborate with highly qualified software and security specialists. Your responsibilities will include:
* Operating identity and access management solutions, including on-site client support.
* Supporting clients with operational tasks and resolving issues in productive environments.
* Analyzing and resolving malfunctions, as well as providing workarounds for simple incidents and errors.
* Operating our IDM and SSO portal infrastructure for our own applications and various clients.
* Configuring and integrating IAM solutions into clients' system environments.
* Collaborating on specification, testing, and rollout for application releases.
* Participating in maintenance and further development of simple interfaces between applications.
* Assisting with change requests and collaborating with application developers.
* Maintaining and managing documentation, including operating manuals and user guides.
* Contributing to business requirements engineering, solution concepts, and release agreements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A diploma in information science systems engineering or a similar background.
* Good knowledge of Linux/Unix (shell, tools) and network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S).
* Enthusiasm for technical IT security, with a focus on authentication and authorization.
* Pleasure in working with clients and a reliable working style.
* Logical and analytical thinking, as well as independent work habits.
* Very good command of German and English.
