The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Consumer Business Support Manager to join our Commercial team in Europe on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the General Manager – Europe, the Consumer Business Support Manager role will develop and lead processes that drive commercial vision, sales excellence, and business process effectiveness and efficiency in the Europe Consumer Health Market.
Additionally, she/he will be the Europe commercial analytics champion by taking the lead in developing and managing Europe Commercial Performance Reporting and dashboards including best practice sharing to and best practice adoption from commercial analytics, performance reporting, and dashboards globally.
She/He will support the General Manager – Europe to ensure consistent delivery of business objectives through high-quality business operations by collaborating with multiple stakeholders such as Europe Alliance Manager, External Partner Commercial Leads, Global Marketing Leaders, and Global Commercial Excellence Leaders.
The Consumer Business Support Manager will be involved in strategic projects which will build on their existing skillset and provide opportunities for further development.
This role has connection points globally and, as such, the incumbent may be required to adjust their work schedule to accommodate other countries/time zones. Additionally, some travel may be required (up to 25%).
Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators
1. Support General Manager, Europe to develop, execute, and refine commercial initiatives, focusing on Commercial Excellence (i.e., Sales Effectiveness Initiatives, Gross Margin Improvements Initiatives, Sell-in/Sell-out Health, etc.).
2. Lead the development and management of Europe Performance Management Reporting and dashboards that provide real-time insights into key performance indicators, trends, and business opportunities.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address commercial challenges, leveraging data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data requirements, ensure data accuracy, and streamline reporting processes.
5. Develop executive-level presentations and reports that effectively communicate analytical findings, highlighting key opportunities and risks.
6. Facilitate a culture of planning and project management, using consistent tools and approaches, ensuring that work is tracked, and prioritizing effectively.
7. Play a key role in the preparation of and during the business reviews & budget process.
8. Support ad hoc projects and initiatives that create growth opportunities for Europe and globally.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
1. At least 6-8 years of experience in finance, market research, business operations, and analytics. Experience in Pharmaceutical and Consumer industry preferred.
2. Possess a Degree in a relevant discipline required. Master’s in business administration highly desirable.
3. Certifications or Designations: General Management Programs. Business Support Manager Certification highly preferred.
4. Financial acumen.
5. Project management.
6. Ability to translate data into insights.
7. Proven experience with reporting systems, alignment, and analytical applications.
