Our transversal Group Technology R&D is looking for a Senior Embedded Backend Software Developer to complete his team and build up a new Embedded Software platform for our Product Lines. You will report to the Embedded Software Manager and closely partner with cross functional teams and experts in our organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Working in an industrial environment with Embedded equipment
Within the Frontend Platform Team, defining and building a new unified embedded architecture
Development of Backend for Frontend of a web-based solution
Maintaining/Improving the Embedded Backend setup and deployment
Working with Azure DevOps tools, including the creation of automated testing and deployment pipelines
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements using architecture best practices
Defining test specifications and implement automated tests
Writing documentation in English
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge including multiple years of experience
Experience in the usage of C#
Experience in Node.js is a plus
Experience in interfacing with API and automates (OPC-UA)
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker in an embedded Windows/Linux systems
Good knowledge in the usage and design of REST APIs and knowledge about automated testing (e.g. Playright, Cypress, …)
Experience with CI/CD pipeline
Experience working in an Agile Team
Very good spoken and written English and French desirable

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
