Job Description
We are seeking an experienced solution architect to collaborate with our architecture team in defining and implementing a target architecture. This role will contribute to delivering business-critical initiatives while ensuring the sustainable evolution of our architectural landscape.
The key responsibilities include:
* Contribute to the definition, documentation, and implementation of a firm-wide target architecture;
* Drive the design, implementation, and improvement of our software and technology landscape;
* Take ownership of complex projects, driving technology and architectural aspects for successful delivery;
* Find technical solutions for implementing, integrating, and optimizing business processes across various systems;
* Manage the new demand process together with other solution architects and business owners;
* Assess and evaluate software architectures, technologies, methods, tools, and strategies for improving efficiency and reusability.
Requirements
* Degree in Information Technology or similar (Master's degree preferred);
* Proven experience as Solution Architect and/or Lead Software Engineer, with experience in designing large-scale software ecosystems;
* Experience in devising cloud-ready solutions and migrating from on-prem and/or legacy solutions to the cloud;
* Experience in the software development lifecycle and in-depth understanding of software engineering practices and processes;
* Proactive and motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across business lines at senior levels;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences;
* Experience in financial services and/or asset management is an advantage;
* Excellent English oral and written communication skills, German is a plus.
