Overall Purpose of the Job: The Program Manager (PM) will lead and coordinate a cross functional team which may include the following disciplines: Design Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, Manufacturing & Test Engineering, Materials, Planning, Quality, Document Control, Service, Finance, and outsourced Contract Manufacturing partners. The PM will be responsible for delivering high quality, well documented product solutions that meet and exceed the needs of all members of this team. The PM may also manage a portfolio of products for a key customer. Your Responsibilities. Lead the execution of strategic programs ensuring programs are delivered on time, to specification, and at cost. Programs will include New Product Development as well as revenue driving product line extensions and customizations. Be responsible for risk mitigation and change management control for the program(s) you lead. Drive cross-functional program teams to common goals and drive decisions to mitigate risk with clarity and speed. Your cross-functional partners will include Design Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Quality, and Service, among others. Communicate status of programs to goals and drives decisions to mitigate risk with clarity and speed. Must be a highly effective communicator with the cross functional team and investment stakeholders. Your Experience and Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and experience in a project management role involving tactical coordination of a technological product Proven ability to manage multiple and highly complex programs and have a successful track record of delivery from concept to commercialization. Proven experience of Program Management supporting New Product Development. Familiarity with program management industry standard practices, including phase gate development processes, and able to promote best practices. Demonstrated ability of delivering results, inspiring action to clear and concise objectives and effective communication with all levels of the organization. Ability to drive the process of reaching compromise and consensus among project team members. Recognized as a leader and a highly effective communicator at all levels of the organization. Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a cross-functional, matrix environment. Project Management certification desirable Fluency in English required, German is a plus. Benefits.
