Job Description: Lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of Crew Management Systems, effectively guiding teams through a dynamic environment and fostering constructive relationships with stakeholders.
Drive key IT/business initiatives in Crew Planning & Disposition to boost efficiency and innovation.
Oversee reliability, compliance, and performance of Crew Management Systems (manpower planning, pairing, rostering, tracking).
Ensure high data quality and full adherence to legal/contractual requirements.
Define coding standards and best practices.
Provide insights for union negotiations, enhancing crew productivity and quality of life.
Manage relationships with external vendors.
Ensure alignment and collaborate with SWISS IT and LH Group IT teams regarding Crew systems.
Requirements: Degree from a university of applied sciences or comparable expertise.
Proven, exemplary leadership and management skills are a must.
Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders across the organization.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including disciplinary leadership of technical or operational teams.
Experience with agile working methods and frameworks.
Expertise in airline operations and commercial business.
Ability to think and act cross-departmentally.
Strong customer focus and innovation orientation.
Knowledge of Crew Planning and/or Disposition is an advantage.
Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus.
