Job Description:
This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients' senior leadership, providing thought leadership on Google's advertising product suite, and understanding clients' business and marketing objectives.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an account strategist. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams within Google to deliver strategic approaches for clients to achieve their objectives on Google's advertising platforms.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients' senior leadership, providing thought leadership on Google's advertising product suite.
* Understand clients' business and marketing objectives in the context of their investments with Google and their overall marketing strategy.
* Own the account plan for the client, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams within Google to deliver on that plan.
* Analyze industry trends and client performance to develop strategic approaches for the client to achieve their objectives on Google's advertising platforms.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
* Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in brand management and building a brand.
* Experience in the Travel industry, including key trends, challenges and opportunities.
* Experience with the United States market.
* Experience working in a sales environment.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
