Overview The Pepsi Co Europe Away From Home team is looking for a strategic, creative, and results-oriented Customer & Brand Activation Director. This role reports to the Europe Away From Home Sr Director and will be responsible for developing, selling in, and executing brand activation programmes with Customers across Snacks and Beverages for the Away From Home Channel in Europe. This role will be critical to deliver our Win More & Sell More Agenda: Win More - support the AFH Commercial team in the renewal and new business acquisition process. Sell More - develop, present and execute innovative customer activation campaigns to boost brand awareness and engagement in the AFH channel. This role will cover all relevant sub-channels within Away From Home such as QSR, Recreation or Lodging. It requires strong collaboration with brand, commercial, finance, insights, digital, design, sports & entertainment, innovation, equipment, culinary/mixology, sustainability, category leadership, etc. - to showcase the best of Pepsi Co to our customers and consumers. It will also require partnering and aligning with the local Market Units (FOBO and COBO) to ensure scale and consistency. The Director will need to exhibit deep Consumer and Customer understanding and knowledge of the entire Pepsi Co portfolio while leveraging Pepsi Co’s global and regional brand programs, such as Better with Pepsi, UEFA Champions League sponsorship, Doritos Loaded or Mixology, to elevate brand building and engagement within the AFH channel. Responsibilities Main responsibilities: Identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation within the European AFH channel (including bespoke channel or customer innovation). Leverage global and regional AFH marketing programs (e.g., UCL, Doritos Loaded, Mixology) and create tailor-made activation programs that meet the unique needs of each sub-channel/customer. Foster best practice sharing across Europe and ensure consistency in brand messaging and execution across all European markets within the AFH channel. Ensure efficient use of resources while maximizing the impact of campaigns. Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of regional customer activation campaigns. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize future activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and media. Foster partnerships that enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty across Europe. Provide training and guidance to regional marketing staff and other departments. Collaborate closely with the AFH Europe Commercial team, R&D, AFH Global Team, Global and Regional Marketing Teams, and the Commercial and Marketing Market Units Teams. Collaborate with local teams, agencies, and partners to create impactful events and promotions. Partner with New Business Director and Key Account Managers in the renewal and new customer acquisition process. Track regional market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities. Attend industry events to elevate PEP presence & build new business pipeline. Qualifications Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or MBA. Work Experience:10-15 years of marketing & sales experience, preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization or Foodservice industries. Skills & Capabilities: Strong leadership & strategic skills with the ability to set the agenda. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities requiring a high degree of agility. Comfortable and skilled at presenting to C-suite internally and externally (excellent storytelling and presentation skills). Proven relationship building and communication skills with executive presence to interact with Sr. leadership (internally and externally). Extensive knowledge of the company landscape and how to manage an effective network. Excel in navigating within an organizational matrix. Superior time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and plan. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, proactively influence strategic decision making. Strong communication, collaboration, influence, and impact skills at all levels within an organization. Self-starter, ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision. Exceptional results orientation - with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership. Proven expertise in creative Agency management and “Big idea” development. Must be willing and able to travel.
