As a Customizing Supply Planner, your role will involve building production plans that adhere to the available capacity, ensuring the availability of finished goods at the right stock locations to meet customer demand.
A Day in the Life of a Customizing Supply Planner
* Establish a long horizon production plan for the co-packers within their responsibility
* Creates a feasible production plan within the designated period, considering available capacity, labor, and materials, while respecting product family sequencing
* Identifies opportunities and issues in collaboration with the co-packers
* Contributes to cross-functional planning activities
* Challenges co-packers to optimize lot sizes, cycle times, and inventory levels, and supports Demand Planner to improve accuracy
* Analyzes and evaluates the supply plan and net dispatch requirements, considering network complexity and supply constraints
* Manages inventory to balance product availability and minimize costs, ensuring optimum stocks in the right locations
What will make you successful
* Solid operational experience in areas such as Demand and Supply Planning, Factory Planning, MRP, or other demand and supply planning positions
* Good awareness and understanding of business and market trends
* Ability to influence others and navigate conflicting objectives
* Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Willingness to challenge the current status quo
* Fluent in English and good command of German (B2 minimum) is a must, French is beneficial
