About Indirect Purchasing Team in Autoliv
The Global Category Management team is driving category strategies together with our divisional purchasing teams. We are positioning Indirect Purchasing as a strategic partner for our stakeholders to support Autoliv's long-term strategic goals, and to guarantee a balanced supplier selection. We also continuously lead and execute general purchasing excellence activities to maximize the value delivered by Indirect Purchasing.
Job Description
* Develop global category strategy, including an Autoliv long term roadmap towards CO2 free logistics in the year 2040
* Drive supply chain excellence & coordinate strategic initiatives, find and develop synergies between different parts of logistics chain, and between divisions
* Coordinate strategic initiatives within indirect purchasing and global and divisional logistics functions
* Policy deployment
* Innovation & benchmarking for logistics technologies
* Ensure global best practice and knowledge transfer within Purchasing and Logistics
* Follow up and drive performance of the sourcing pipeline
* Contribute actively to developing indirect purchasing excellence across categories
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* 10 years experience in Supply Chain & Purchasing on a global level
* Experience in Project Management, ideally on complex global projects
* Solid experience in Change Management, ideally on complex global projects
* Very good at synthesizing facts and knowledge into clear actionable strategy
* Very good analytical skills, end-to-end view of Supply Chain, Logistics & Purchasing
* Business degree in Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Purchasing
* Experience in managing global teams functionally across a matrix organization (must)
* Capability to independently drive strategic initiatives and develop solutions together with various stakeholders and senior management
* Business fluent in English

The role is based in Zug and will report to Indirect Purchasing Director Global Category Management.
Ideal start date: May 2025
