Our client is an internationally recognized organization with headquarters in Basel. This role is within their "Innovation Hub," a "start-up" within the organization. We are urgently looking for a Project & Change Manager who can help the organization adopt and implement processes and mature further.
Job Description
Project Management
* Take ownership of planning and overseeing internal projects within the Innovation Hub, such as the development and execution of a project portfolio monitoring system. Ensure smooth project progress, identifying any risks or issues early for proactive resolution.
* Integrate external expertise and best practices in project and change management to elevate the Hub's capabilities and outputs.
* Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders within the Innovation Hub (teams based in Basel and internationally) while also coordinating with the bank's support functions (IT, security, HR, Finance) and potential external partners.
* Design and implement a pipeline for prioritizing initiatives and managing demand within the Innovation Hub, aligning resources with strategic objectives.
Change Management
* Lead the implementation of new processes or updates, ensuring they are fully adopted and understood by relevant stakeholders. This includes creating clear communication materials, delivering presentations, providing training, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
* Review and enhance existing communication platforms to foster better collaboration both within the Innovation Hub (across all Hub Centres) and with the wider organization. Develop strategies that promote engagement, collaboration, and a sense of community as the Hub continues to evolve into a more agile and dynamic unit.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in project management (PMO experience highly desirable for data management and reporting).
* Strong background in change management, specifically related to process change and implementation, within a global company operating in multiple regions.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience working in diverse and multicultural environments.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Strong interpersonal skills, able to navigate ambiguity and engage with senior leadership confidently.
* Experience in Business Analysis.
* Familiarity with Agile methodology and a background in innovation-focused projects.
* Previous exposure to the Fintech, start-up, or innovation sectors.
