Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Project Manager Business Transformation to lead key change initiatives within our Destination Management company (DMC). This role plays a crucial part in driving strategic projects aimed at optimizing operations, enhancing the customer journey, and adapting to evolving market demands across our destinations, services, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver end-to-end transformation projects in areas such as digitalization, customer experience, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership, operational teams, marketing, and key stakeholders in various locations to ensure strategic alignment.
* Analyze tourism trends, internal processes, and customer feedback to identify areas for transformation and innovation.
* Identify and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance personalization, automate workflows, and optimize resource allocation.
* Define and deliver the ideal digital travel journey, including seamless booking paths, real-time communication, and personalized experiences across touchpoints.
* Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
* Ensure successful stakeholder engagement and communication throughout all phases of transformation projects.
* Apply change management best practices to foster adoption and long-term sustainability.
* Monitor and report project progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.
* Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on transformation, ideally in the tourism, hospitality, or travel industry.
* Solid understanding of the tourism value chain, including destination management, travel distribution, marketplace and customer experience.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages (especially local or regional) is an asset.
